Mirror, Mirror on the wall...you LIAR

I dont understand, sometimes I look in the mirror and Im like, "You so fine!" and I think I look cute! And then I take a picture and its like it doesnt even look like me! So how I do I know who the real me is? I feel like the mirrors lie or that the digital cam adds about 200 pounds.

Dammit.

Ok, so hows the 4th going? Im sooo looking forward to burgers! Yum!

I was so excited, I woke up this morning and could BREATHE! I kept taking Formula 44 yesterday and finally started to feel better. All I did was lay back and read. Oh and I made brownies too but youll be happy to know that I didnt have one! And I made two batches! However, I havent had sweets in awhile and I didnt want to get the cravings going again so as soon as I got them out of the oven, I immediately left the room. I could still smell them but that was ok. I havent had chips and dip since June 22nd. Now that is a hard craving to let go of but I refuse to buy myself any.

How is it that food is my porn? Thats weird. Some men like magazines of naked women and some women like naked magazines of men. Me-I prefer magazines filled with cheeseburgers and pizza and everything else bad for me. Seriously, I mean, do you know of anyone else that gets horny for Pizza Hut?

However, Im doing really well even without exercising. I may start up again today but I doubt it because Im going to take some more Formula 44 and continue to recover.

Also...a neti pot? LOL I always think of "Six Feet Under" when I think of those. But I should buy one, I see them everywhere!

LOL at Food Porn :-)

Glad you are on the mend and those Neti pots sound odd but apparently effective. But ewww

After three months of really clean eating, I can feel my appetites changing for the better. I get excited about fresh fruit, about the prospect of grilling veggies, about fresh tomatoes.

I got through those cravings by really slowing down and thinking things through... and remembering how crappy all that junk made me feel immediately afterwards.

Food porn=awesome. I love to look at my Rachel Ray magazine at all the food. I never make it....I just look at it :)

Happy 4th!

OH! and I totally feel the same way about photos of myself. Do I really have that many chins??? This is why I am BEHIND the camera most of the time.

you too funny monica, is it wierd that i get off on clothes? I love online shopping and putting all kinds of clothes and shoes in my basket and then closing it lol. I think its great that u havnt had chips and dip, i know how much they are your vice. You seem to be back on the right track and that is wonderful. Keep at it hun you will get there I promise! Oh btw I do the same thing in the mirror too and then snap when the pics taken Im like UGGGG Im so freaking ugly and fat.

1. You must try the Neti Pot. Seriously, highly effective.

2. I KNOW exactly what you mean about mirror / picture differences. I usually have my husband take my picture before I leave the house so that I can really "see" what I look like. Sad, but effective.

Hope u feel better soon.

I can relate on pics. My mirror is only from the hip up so I cannot see my thighs ( my trouble area) so I never get a full idea of what I look like.

I hear you about the differences between mirror and camera but also reflections in windows! Shop windows do nothing for me...

Kudos on not cracking on the chip craving *high fives*

lol @ the last p.graph. Man, I love six feet under...

I can totally relate. I'm not sure I'm quite at the food porn thing yet, but I definitely watch commercials and yearn for the food to be on my lips just not my hips.
I hear ya on the mirror/camera thing too. Sometimes I look at a picture and wonder why my loved ones let me out of the house looking that way.
I agree with Jack Sh*t's comment too. I feel so much better now that I'm eating more whole foods and staying away from all the processed stuff. I think my guts are thanking me silently. My stomach doesn't hurt like it used to.
